Empire Marina Lake Macquarie is nestled in a protected cove at the northern end of Lake Macquarie.
We cater to all your boating needs, offering safe and secure wet berthing, swing moorings, dry-storage, a full-serviced boat yard, fuel wharf with pump out facilities and a fully stocked chandlery. For your convenience our chandlery is open 8am to 5pm, 7 days a week, 364 days a year*.

Empire Marinas Marine Industry Careers Expo was a huge success yesterday.
GM Dave Randall and our marina team did a cracking job putting together a fun and informative day for the 9 schools who attended. No doubt there has been much curiosity sparked for many students after connecting with Marine Mechanics, Shipwrights, Marina Management, Detailers, TAFE Teachers, Marine Electricians and Electrical Services, and the Boating Industry Association of Australia.
Presenters talked with more than 130 students making their way through the expo in small groups throughout the day. Accompanied by their teachers, the students then had an opportunity to speak with industry professionals. They also got to experience exciting demonstrations as Tim from Endeavour Marine fired up a V8 Mercury outboard and explained how testing & diagnoses is carried out on the connected laptop.
Students were then taken on a tour out into the working boatyard to find out more about the type of work carried out and why routine maintenance is required on a vessel.

Our General Manager David Randall was on hand representing the marina and helping to present the two large cheques. Dave actually took part in a second cheque presentation for the NBN news team who had arrived after the ceremony had had finished.
This year the amazing and tireless sailing crews and HCW Committee have raised more than $80,000 for Cancer Council and Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie. An $80,000 cheque was presented to Professor Hugh Harley, Cancer Council of Australia Chair. Another cheque for $5000 was presented to Jim Wright, Marine Rescue NSW Lake Macquarie Unit Commander.
Sincere thanks to the Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto and the Heaven Can Wait committee along with all the big hearted sailing crews who participated in 2024 achieving an outstanding result. And sincere thanks also goes to the tireless and dedicated team from Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie for their support during the regatta and throughout the year out on our beautiful Lake Macquarie.
